In health and beauty the customer is choosing a person, so the site has to make that choice easy. Team pages with real photos and registration numbers, a price list that does not hide behind “call for details”, and two or three reviews next to the booking button are what turn a visitor into an appointment. The booking link goes in the header on every page, because the decision is made quickly and on a phone. Treatment pages explain what happens, how long it takes and what it costs.
Local search for clinics and salons runs through the map pack. “Dentist Chester”, “hairdresser Wilmslow” and “physio near me” all show three businesses with stars before any website, so the Google Business Profile needs the right category, services, hours and a steady flow of reviews. The site backs it up with a page per treatment in the words patients use, and an areas page for the towns you draw from.
- Home: who you are, where, your registrations, two reviews, book now as the first button on a phone
- Treatments: one section per treatment with a price from, how long it takes and what to expect
- Prices: a full price list as text, changed by us when it changes, so nobody has to ring to ask
- Team: every practitioner with a photo, qualifications and registration number, because people book a person
- Book and contact: link to your booking system or a request form to your email, hours, parking, accessibility
These guys are very skilled and effective, especially with integrating AI solutions into a business. I was very impressed with how quickly they could build a customer facing website and solve some of the more difficult problems with AI and/or code based methods. Definitely at the cutting edge of what's possible in the world of web development.

Clinics and salons ask us
Patients find us on Google already. What does a site add?
Google shows your profile, then sends people to the site to check prices, the team and how to book. If the site is slow or has no prices, they go back and tap the next clinic. The site is the second half of the search, not a separate thing.
Can people book online?
If you use a booking system such as Dentally, Fresha, Treatwell or Cliniko, we link to it from every page. If you do not, we add a request form that goes to your email with the treatment and preferred times, and your reception confirms.
Do we have to publish prices?
GDC standards expect dentists to make prices clear to patients, and everyone else should. A price list on the page stops the "how much is a cut and colour" phone calls, and it is the page people visit most after the home page.
What about patient confidentiality?
The form collects a name, contact details and the treatment of interest, nothing clinical, and goes to your email over an encrypted connection. We add a plain privacy notice. Clinical records never touch the site.
