Google Ads measured in enquiries, not clicks. Setup £99, from £99 a month.
We set up the campaigns, cut the searches that waste money and count every call, WhatsApp message and form. Each month you see what one enquiry cost and decide whether to raise the budget. The account is in your name from day one.
The fastest way to find customers, and to waste money
Google Ads puts you in front of someone who is searching for your service right now. It is also the fastest way to spend a budget on nothing, when a campaign runs on autopilot with broad match and no negative keywords. So we run small, tidy campaigns, read the real search terms every week and measure enquiries, not clicks. If after two months the cost per enquiry does not work for your business, we tell you and stop.
Six things, done properly
Campaign structure
Separate campaigns by service and by town, not one big pot. You see which one pays and where to move the budget.
Keywords with buying intent
Exact and phrase match for the first two months. No broad match until the account has data to learn from.
Negative keywords
We start with a list of over 100 negatives, such as "free", "course", "jobs", "DIY" and "salary", and add to it every week from the real search terms.
Ads that say the price
Headlines with the price, the timescale and the area. The ad and the page say the same number, which lifts quality score and lowers the cost per click.
Call and form tracking
Phone taps, WhatsApp clicks and sent forms are counted as separate conversions with different values, so the report is in enquiries, not clicks.
Monthly report
How much was spent, how many enquiries came in, what one enquiry cost and what we change next month. One page, plain English.
One setup fee, then a fee by ad budget
Account setup
Structure, campaigns, ad groups, ads, negative keywords, conversion tracking.
Budget up to £300
Weekly optimisation, negative keywords, monthly report.
Budget up to £800
More campaigns and ad groups, ad testing.
Budget over £800
For accounts with a large catalogue or many towns.
The ad budget is not in these figures. It is paid directly to Google from your card, you see it and you control it. Facebook and Instagram ads are available alongside Google, quoted in the brief. The price you see is the price you pay; we do not add UK VAT.
Ads buy time. SEO buys independence.
The most common question in the first email. If the budget only stretches to one, start with ads and add SEO once enquiries are steady.
| Google Ads | SEO | |
|---|---|---|
| When the first enquiries come | Usually within the first week or two | Over months, as pages and links build up |
| What you pay | Ad budget to Google plus a management fee | A monthly fee only |
| What happens if you stop | Enquiries stop the same day | Positions hold for months and fade slowly |
| Best for | A new business, a season, an offer, an urgent service | A long-term presence and a lower cost per enquiry |
| Predictability | High: you see the cost per click and per enquiry | Lower: it depends on competition and on Google |

Google Ads, plainly
How much does Google Ads management cost?
Setup is £99 one-off. Management is £99 a month with an ad budget up to £300, £149 a month with a budget up to £800, and 15% of the budget above that. The ad budget is separate and is paid directly to Google from your card.
What budget should I set aside for the ads themselves?
For a local service in one or two towns we usually suggest starting between £10 and £20 a day and raising it once the cost per enquiry is acceptable. Before naming a figure for your trade we look at Keyword Planner and tell you in the first email what a click is likely to cost in your towns.
How much does a click cost?
It depends on the trade and the town, and anyone quoting one number for every business is guessing. We check Keyword Planner for your searches before we start, and the real figure shows after the first two weeks of data. For the first two to four weeks the cost per click is usually higher, because the account is still learning.
When will I see the first enquiries?
Usually within the first week or two after the ads are approved, as long as the page matches the ad and someone answers the phone. If after two months the cost per enquiry is not acceptable for your business, we say so and stop, rather than keep spending your budget.
Who owns the ad account?
You do. It is created in your business name with your card, and we get access as a manager. If we part ways, the account with its whole history stays with you, which is the opposite of working inside an agency account.
Can I run ads without a website, just a Facebook page?
Google can send people to your phone, but without a page with an offer, a price and a form you pay a lot for weak results. It works out cheaper to have a simple page first, then ads. A five-page site is £399 and takes seven working days.
Do you also run Facebook and Instagram ads?
Yes, but only together with Google Ads. On their own they rarely bring enquiries for a local service business; alongside search they work for offers and seasonal work. Ask in the brief and we quote it with the rest.
